We’re sick and tired of a system that keeps on taking while ignoring our needs. We’re done tolerating a government that locks up our loved ones and kidnaps our neighbors. It’s time to put people over profit. Join the Movement for Black Lives in cities across the country to see what’s possible when we reclaim our power together.

A People’s Assembly (PA) is exactly what it sounds like: people (usually community members) coming together to share ideas about where we live and what needs to change; ultimately, we decide what we will do about it together. PAs are about finding our strength in numbers and the power we build when we work together to achieve common goals.
In depth training. Grab your meal and let’s be in deep learning and practice together for 2 ½ to 3 hours. We will be hosting an indepth People’s Assembly Webinar Series for anyone interested in using People’s Assemblies as a tool for community-led decision making and engagement. So if you are serious about developing strong People’s Assembly infrastructure, join the webinar series. The Webinars will be facilitated by people’s assemblies practitioners and developer experts – Makani Themba and Natt Offiah.
